The Five Farms Market Story

Welcome to Five Farms Market!

We’re happy you’re here! 

Five Farms Market was started in Mount Vernon, Virginia at our home that sits on one of the original five farms of George Washington.  We began the journey for the customer who enjoys buying handmade. It’s a collection of goods handcrafted by our family alongside thoughtfully selected pieces made by artisans from here in the United States and places on my travel list. 
From pieces for your home to things you can wear (coming soon), carry, gift, and enjoy, everything is chosen with intention and a story behind it.

My amazing husband and our four children have been a wonderful part of this adventure, encouraging this effort along the way. Supporting small businesses has always been important to our family, and I’m incredibly grateful that Five Farms Market allows us to do that in a new way—by offering our own handcrafted goods while giving other artisans another place to share their creations.
